Hola amigas!! hoy como cada miercoles toca reto en Latinas en America, y este no sera la excepcion!! el reto de hoy consiste en “Leyendas y Dragones”, y para empezar con las inspiracion les dejo este pequeno documento sobre el color de los dragones y tambien el link de nuestro patrocinado Stamping Dragon Designs.

EL COLOR DE LOS DRAGONES

Los dragones chinos adoptaban diferentes colores según las circunstancias que debían representar. Aparecían de negro para revelar la llegada de laDestrucción, mientras los dragones amarillos prefiguraban la Muerte. Por el contrario, los dragones azules comunicaban el nacimiento de un personaje célebre. Se dice que cuando nació Confucio, aproximadamente en el año 550 AC., dos dragones de color azul sobrevolaban la vivienda en que se produjo el suceso.

Hello friends! today as every Wednesday in America Latina have a challenge, and Today is not the exception!!! Today’s Challenge about "Legends and Dragons" and to start with the inspiration I leave this little paragraph on the color of the dragons and also the link of our sponsor Stamping Dragon Designs.

THE COLOR OF DRAGONS

Chinese dragons adopted different colors depending on the circumstances to berepresented. Appeared from black to reveal the arrival of laDestrucción, while theyellow dragons foreshadowed death. Here I used the glossy accents, which I love too!!! y looks like a velvet chocolate cake with lemon !!! could be that I had a craving of chocolate ?? hehehehe

Reto # 11 Latinas en America / HBday Card

Hola amigas: que rapido se van los dias!! y sobre todo despues de este fin de semana largo para nosotros, pues el lunes fue President's Day!! Aqui estamos con otro reto en Latinas en America!! Muchas gracias por su participacion, todos los proyectos que presentan son muy lindos!!! El patrocinador de este reto es Heather Ellis con estas lindos digi stamps.

Hello friends: How quick the days have pass! and especially after this long weekend for us, because Monday was President's Day! Here we are with another challenge at Latinas en America! Thank you very much for your participation, all the projects presented were very cute! The sponsor of this challenge is Heather Ellis with these cute digi stamps.

El reto # 11 consiste en hacer un proyecto con colores pastel, muy facil!! yo use esta imagen de Heather Ellis que me encanto y use los colores pastel en mi tarjeta. Los papeles lila y azul son de The Colorbok, use spellbinder para el contorno del papel decorado que es de DWVC, el papel donde imprimi el digi stamp es de canson y coloree el digi con distress ink, al final en la cereza y los cuadritos que se ven le puse glossy accents para que le diera el brillo y se viera como si fuera real!! ese efecto me encanta!! El letrero de happy birthday lo hice con el set de mini sentiments (creo que asi se llama) de Stampin Up y tambien lo corte con el perforador de Stampin Up. Para el toque final le puse distress ink en las orillas y puntitos blancos.

The challenge # 11 is to do a project with pastel colors, very easy! I use this digi stamp of Heather Ellis and use pastel colors on my card. The purple and blue paper are from The Colorbok, I used spellbinder and decorated paper which is DWVC, I printed the digi stamp on canson paper and color it with distress ink; at the end in the cherry and the squares I put glossy accents to give them a shinny look as it were real! I love that effect! The happy birthday sign is with the set of mini sentiments (I think that's the name) from Stampin Up and also cut it with the punch of Stampin Up too. For the finishing touch I put distress ink around the edges and white spots.

Este LO lo hize para el reto de Escrapeando en el cielo con Jackie y consistia en hacer un LO siguiendo el Sketch propuesto y una regadera.

Hello: here is this LO, this is the homework # 1 of the Sketches course with Diana Torres, here is the link to her blog, then you can admire her beautiful projects!! ArteScrap by Diana.

Teniamos que seguir el sketch sugerido y usar al menos una tecnica de las que nos enseñaron en la primer clase. En mi caso use distress ink azul en los bordes del papel beige y le hice distress al papel rojo con el distressing tool.

He had to follow the sketch posted and at least one technique showed at the first class. I used the blue distress ink at the edge of the beige cardstock and I used the distressing tool to distress the red cardstock.

We are in the month where we breath love!!! I decided to do a Love Card and here is the result.

Apenas me llegaron esos corazones para hacer las famosas shaking cards y pense que le quedaria perfecta a esta tarjeta!! Que opinan??? Le puse unos corazones y figuritas dentro.

As soon as I had this heart window in my hands I knew it will fit perfect for this card. What do you think about it!!!

Hola amigas: pues dejenme decirles que estoy feliz!!!! siiii pues regrese a mis andadas jejejeje siii a hacer LO otra vez, pues ya lo habia dejado de hacer porque me habia dedicado a hacer mas tarjetas y alterados, pero gracias a las chicas de Libres de Acido y a Diana de ArteScrap Comparte he regresado a hacer lo que mas me gusta!!!

Hello friends: let me tell you that I'm really happy! yeahhhh I’m doing LO again!!! yeah again, since I had stopped doing it because I had committed to doing more cards and altered, but thanks to the girls of Libres de Acido and to Diana from ArteScrap Comparte I returned to do what I like to do more!

Este es el Sketch a seguir y ademas del sketch debemos incluir algunos elementos especificos. El primero de ellos es un MATASELLOS, el cual no tenia, me di a la tarea de buscarlo, pero como caido de el cielo lo encontre en una tienda que nunca pense (no se las digo porque meto gol jejejej). No es exactamente un matasellos, pero tiene la forma y esta lindo!!! La marca del sello es Stampology.

This is the Sketch to follow, and also we have to use some specific elements. The first of the elements is to use a postmark, yes..so, I went out to look for it, and it came to my hands ! I found in a store that I would never think I will find it (I won’t tell you the name of the store heheheheh). This is not exactly a postmark but it has de form and it it nice!!! The brand of the stamp is Stampology.

Luego habia que usar tambien los famosos y hermosos flourishes, y ya estaba lista para poner mi cricut a trabajar cuando recorde que tenia un die de sizzix y pues quedo perfecto!! Le puse clear emboosing power para que le diera ese efecto y me encanto!!!

The next thing to use were the famous and beautiful flourishes, and I was ready to put my little cricut to work, when I remembered that I have a die from sizzix so it came just perfect for it. I put clear embossing power to have the shining effect and I love it!!

Otro “ingrediente” es la tela de gasa o gueso, y pues como no cuento con tela de gasa, busque entre mis curiosidades y encontre este listo en forma de gasa!!!! sabia que algun dia lo iba a usar jejejejej y me encanto!!! Lo encontre en una tienda de manualidades en Tijuana :)

Another “ingredient” is to use the gueso gauze or cloth, let me tell you that I do not have gauze cloth, so, looking in my curiosities and I found this trim in the form of gauze !! when I bought it I knew that someday I would use it jejejejej and love the result!! I found it in a crafts store in Tijuana!

Otro ingrediente son las mariposas!! Ahora si, puse mi cricut a trabajar y saque estas hermosas mariposas, para darse ese efecto saque un sello en forma de trebol que tenia muchos cuadritos pequenos y la estampe con clear embossing y me dio este efecto!!

Another ingredient are the butterflies! Now I put my cricut to work and I got these beautiful butterflies, to have that effect I used a a clover-shaped stamp that had many small squares and stamped it with clear embossing and I got this effect!

Tambien tenemos que usar glimmer mist!! Casi no se nota porque es clear glimmer mist pero ya en vivo y a todo color se ve increible!

Also, we have to use glimmer mist!! In the picture it is almost unnoticeable because is clear glimmer mist, it have like sparkle effect, but in person looks amazing!!!

El titulo tiene que se de cumpleanos, tenemos que usar listo y journaling, este muy importante; en mi caso, se me dificulta la inspiracion para poner el journaling pero estoy trabajando en eso. Tararararannnn aqui esta el resultado!!

The title must be of Happy Birthday, I have to use ribbon and put the journaling, very important the journaling; in my case, is hard to my put it, is hard to me have the inspiration and capture the essence of the picture, but I’m working on it!! Tararannnn!!! Here is the result!!

Hola amigas; es un honor para mi presentarles mi primer proyecto como DT del Blog Creando Con Detalles CCD, mi participacion en CCD es de Layouts. A mi me gusta usar Sketches para inspirarme, entonces decidi usar el Sketch de mi amig ScrapMo , y asi apoyar el talento latino.

Hello friends: it is an honor for me present you my first project as a DT of CCD Creando con Detalles Blog, my participation this time is with a Layout. I like to use sketches to inspire me, so, I decided to use my friend’s ScrapMo Sketch and support Latin talent.

En esta occasion tengo el privilegio de contar con el patrocinio de Karlas001, recibi unos listones hermosos que son ideales para usar en cualquier tipo de manualidad. Yo decidi hacer unas flores con los listones y quedaron hermosos. En el video podran ver como realize estas flores.

A este tag para el journaling tambien le puse liston alrededor para que hiciera juego con las flores, me encanto el color de este liston, ademas que esta perfecto para el tema de San Valentin.

For the journaling tag I put some wine pleaded trim around the edge to make it match with the flowers, I loved this color, and it is perfect for the San Valentine theme.

Para el titulo use un sello en forma de banner y encima le puse letras que son tipo tercipelo. Use foam dots para darle una vista 3D.

For the title I used a stamp with banner shape, and I put the velvet letters on it. I used foam dots to have like a 3D view.

El reto de hoy consiste en utilizar al menos 3 diferentes papeles decorados y 3 corazones!!! facil no??? Aqui les dejo mi interpretacion. Es una tarjeta don doble compartimiento. Aqui te dejo el tutorial.

The today challenge today in to use at least 3 pattern paper and 3 hearts! easy, isn’t it ?? Here is my project. It's a diagonal double pocket card. Here is the link to the tutorial

Que te puede servir para poner un sobre, tag o como en mi caso le puse un sobre de chocolate abuelita, el cual le obsequie a una amiga del trabajo.

In this you can put an envelope, tag, or as in my case I put a chocolate Abuelita, which I already gave it to a friend.

Aproveche que el papel es doble cara y de ahi ya tuve 2 papeles decorados incluidos en mi tarjeta!!!

I used pattern paper double sided and there you go!! I have the 2 pattern paper already included on my card!

Y se preguntan donde esta el tercer papel decorado??? aqui, hice un tag y le puse Feliz dia!!! El sellito es de Dilo en Espanol set Que siga la Fiesta.

And they wonder where the third decorated paper?? Here, I made a tag and I put the sentiment Feliz Dia, which is from the set Que siga la Fiesta of Dilo en Espanol.

Le puse 2 clips que ya traen una gema de corazon, que estan hermosos!!

Hola amigas: que les han parecido los retos??? muy bonitos no?? pues hoy es el dia del Reto # 6 en Latinas en America. El reto consiste en usar el Sketch # 1, y usar los colores blanco y negro.

Hello friends, have you had fun with our challenges?? very nice isn’t? Today is the day for the Challenge # 6 in Latinas en America. The challenge is to use the Sketch # 1, and use the colors white and black.

Aqui les dejo mi interpretacion!!!! Use como base de la tarjeta el color blanco y arriba de este use el negro, donde puse los sellos con la tecnica de embossing.

Here is my interpretation!! I used white as a base color of the card above this black I used black, where I put the stamps with embossing technique.

Este sello me encanto, se le puede dar diferentes usos o para diferentes ocasiones.

I love this stamp, it can be given different uses or for different occasions.

Este esta lindo tambien, que les parece????

This stamp is cute also, isn’t it??

Puse el cuadrito con foam dots para que le diera aspecto a 3D.

I put foam dots underneath the big stamp to give it a 3D view.

Cuéntanos sobre ti: ¿Quien eres? ¿De Donde?
Hola, soy Ruthie Lopez, naci en Fresno Ca USA, pero creci en Mexico, en un pueblo pequeno llamado Tlaxcala y orgullosa de pertencer a estas dos grandes culturas.

¿Como y cuando conociste el Scrapbooking y Cardmaking?
Antes de hacer scrapbooking, tenia como hobby hacer uñas acrilicas, y una muy querida amiga Lysie, que tambien hace uñas acrilicas, siempre me comentaba que ella hacia scrapbooking y cardmaking, entonces me entro la curiosidad, (de esto fue hace un poco mas de 3 años) y comenze a buscar en internet que era Scrapbooking, encontre revistas y blogs, pero no me llego a llenar el corazon hasta hace casi 2 años que entre de lleno al hobby. Y ahora estoy completamente inmersa en el scrapbooking y card making.

¿Cuales son tus 3 herramientas indispensables?
Cricut, Scoring Board y Guillotina.

¿En que se inspiran tus creaciones?
Creo que en todo lo que veo o que se encuentra a mi alrededor, o simplemente la musa me llega y me inspira : )

¿Que es el scrapbooking para ti?
Es un hobby que me ayuda a liberar el stress, una manera de perpetuar nuestra existencia en un bonito recuerdo, darle un toque diferente a una foto y resaltar la misma con el scrapbooking

¿Tienes o sigues algún estilo?
No, creo que aun no, cada dia estoy aprendiendo nuevas tecnicas y aun no me he apegado a una estilo.

I wanted to create something for New Year and came up with this Banner 2012 using the files: RM00162 Christmas Cards 1 Digital Cutter File, I used the words JOY and the squares where the letter goes and the file RM00138 It's A Boy / Girl Banner Digital Cutter File for the banner.
I used 3D squares to give some dimension to the letters and numbers.

Then, I was thinking what to do with it, it came to my mind this idea....... I used homemade glimmer mist.
Despues estaba pensando en que usarla y finalmente me decidi en ponerla en una vela!! Para darle brillo le puse glimmer mist que hice yo!!!

You can use this 3D Poinsettia RM00107 in a candle like I did, in a box as a gift, in a Christmas wreath, you can give many uses to this file.
Este svg file lo puedes usar para adornar una vela como lo hice yo, en una caja para regalo, en una corona de navidad, en fin !! puedes darle muchos usos.

Se puede hace en 3D, o sea una taza o simplemente como lo hize yo, que lo puedes usar como Gift Card Holder o ponerle una bolsita de chocolate instantaneo. Increible no!!!

Emocionada les dejo este post, pues me encanto la idea de guardar las tintas en esta cajita!!! Cuando la vi me fascino y decidi hacerla.

Gracias a Lourdes de tarjetas y Detallitos en papel quien me oriento a hacer esta caja pues en su blog fue donde encontre la idea original. Aunque la de ella esta mas bonita que la mia, pero bueno es la primera, espero las demas me queden tan hermosas como la de Lourdes!

Esta idea para organizar las Distress ink. Y como me he vuelto fan de estas tintas pues pense que valia la pena hacer este esfuerzo, porque no es tan sencillo.

Espero que les haya gustado y les tengo otra noticia, !!!!! Estoy muy emocionada!! Manana les cuento!!!!

I choose to make a chocolate box and be prepare for Christmas time!!!!

A mi me encanto usar este svg file, es facil y rapido para ensamblar, tendras un obsequio muy lindo.

You can put 8 mini chocolates inside the box.

Puedes poner 8 mini chocolates en la cajita.

Here is the empty box, you can fill it with wherever comes to your mind.

Aqui te muestro la caja vacia, como ves le puedes poner lo que tu quieras.

Tambien viene el svg file para que adornes los chocolates.

Esta es la primera vez que pinto con distress ink!!! y me encanto la tecnica!! Tengo que mejorar pero me fascino!!

This is the first time that I use distress ink to color the stamp and I love it!!!! I have to improve my technique but I definitely love it!!!
